Kathy grew up in Pittsburg, KS, attended Wichita State university where she received her Bachelor’s of Health Science and her Master’s of Physical Therapy. She married Brent Cooper in August 1995. In 2001 they moved to Concordia, MO where she partnered to open Physical Therapy of Concordia in 2004. In 2012 Kathy and Shelly Yount, PTA became sole owners of the clinic. In June 2017 they opened Knob Noster Physical Therapy with 2 other partners. In Feb 2018 she completed her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Therapeutic Pain Science Certification.
She and Brent have 3 children, Cailey is a student at the University of Missouri and will be graduating in 2020 with a Doctor of Physical therapy degree. Cameron is in pharmacy school and will be graduating on 2024 with a PharmD degree. Cate will graduate from high school in 2022. Their family is completed with their Yorkie Ray.

Jen (Vogelsmeier) Dickinson was born and raised in Sweet Springs where she was a 2007 graduate of SSHS. After high school, she made the long drive to Columbia, MO and attended the University of Missouri. Jen graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2013. In June 2013, she married her high school sweetheart, Chris. Together, they have two amazing kiddos. Olivia who was born in 2015 and Eli who was born in 2018.
After Olivia was born, Jen began taking specialty courses for pelvic floor physical therapy. She has over 100 hours of continuing education across the country in this sub-specialty and is currently a Teachers Assistant for the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Jen joined the PTC family in January 2020 after 7 years at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, MO.
In her free time, Jen enjoys running and spending time with her family at the Lake of the Ozarks. She is also an avid sports fan and loves to attend or watch sporting events. M I Z!
Jennifer graduated from Concordia High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst College. She lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma and worked in acute care at a hospital, where she met her husband, Rod. Jennifer also obtained work experience in an outpatient hospital setting and then a private practice outpatient setting. She returned to work part time as a physical therapist in 2010 at Physical Therapy of Warrensburg and then had the opportunity to transfer to Physical Therapy of Concordia. She is currently working part time at PTC and is glad to provide care to local communities and returning patients to their previous functional level.
In 2000, Jennifer and Rod welcomed Nathan, and in 2004, Phillip to their family. Nathan graduated from St. Paul Lutheran High School in 2018 and is attending University of Central Missouri. Phillip is attending St. Paul Lutheran High School. She continues to volunteer for St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Grade School and St. Paul Lutheran High School. She looks forward to attending many more of Phillip's games. In her free time, she enjoys taking pictures, scrap booking, discovering treasure in the West Bottoms, spending time with her family, parents and sister's family.
Morgan grew up in small-town Nebraska and graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in 2018. While working on her degree, Morgan completed several clinical internships in various settings including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, and specialty pelvic PT. Morgan joined the PTC family in August 2018 and since then has enjoyed working with a wide variety of patients in the clinic, as well as with the kids in the local schools. She has attended many continuing education courses including Functional Dry Needling, Manual Therapy for Low Back Pain, and Myofascial Release.
Morgan is married to J.T., who works as a math teacher and soccer coach at St. Paul Lutheran High School. They have a son, Judah, who was born in August 2019 and a little girl, Ava, who was born in November 2020. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her J.T., Judah, and Ava, as well as their dog, Rosie, and cat, Butterscotch. She also enjoys going on walks, reading, listening to podcasts, camping, and hiking.
Savannah Scott was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona where she a coached swim team and Special Olympics. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with an emphasis on Pre-Physical Therapy from Grand Canyon University. Then went onto completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University, where she developed an interest in neurologic and orthopedic specialties.
She moved to Missouri recently with her fiancé Robert, who is active duty military. They both are falling in love with the green scenery, BBQ, and lots of fishing here in the mid-west. Savannah joined the PTC family May 2021, full time, and loves the welcoming family environment. In her free time she loves to swim, hike and explore caves and lakes. She loves to craft and paint with acrylics and watercolors on the weekends. Savannah is also hoping to adopt a small furry friend in the future to take on adventures!
Lynda was born and raised in Concordia, MO. She attended Saint Paul's Grade School and then Saint Paul Lutheran High School, where she graduated from in 2019. Lynda is in her second year at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO. She is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology from UCM and hopes to eventually have a job in the field of physical therapy.
In her free time she loves to spend time with her family and boyfriend, play and watch sports, eat food, and spend time with her niece puppies.
Shelly has worked in the "therapy world" since late 1990's and in 2004 she was part of the beginning of Physical Therapy of Concordia in the front desk and tech position. In 2007, she returned to school and graduated in 2009 with her Physical Therapy Assistant degree. Since that time, is now a part-owner in the clinic in Concordia and is also co-owner at Knob Noster Physical Therapy which was opened in 2017.
Shelly has been married to Troy since 1995 and they have 2 children. Shelly's son Turner graduated from Concordia High School in 2019 and is currently attending college for Computer
Programming. Her daughter Landry is attending Concordia High School and will graduate in 2022.
Shelly stays busy with all of her family activities and enjoys going to the lake in the summer.
Jaala was born and raised in Concordia, MO. She graduated from Concordia High School in 2008 and then later graduated from Penn Valley with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2011. She became interested in Physical Therapy after having 4 knee surgeries while in high school. In addition to her surgeries, Jaala was hired by Physical Therapy of Concordia in 2007 as a tech and assisted with office work/filing on the weekends. With that experience, she knew PTC was the place for her and has been working for them ever since. Jaala is certified in LSVT BIG treatments for Parkinson's patients and Graston Technique (instrument assisted soft tissue massage) as well as treating all the various cases referred to the clinic on a daily basis.
Jaala married her high school sweetheart Steven (born and raised farmer in Concordia) in 2013. They have three children; 5 year old Brinley, 3 year old Mason, and new born Isabelle.
Brittany was born and raised in Concordia, Mo. She graduated from Ozarks Technical Community College with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2017. Continued education with Pelvic Floor Therapy and Myofascial release in 2020.
Brittany bought a house in Concordia which she remodeled and is now enjoying her time there with her fiancé, Trevor, and their 2 dogs, Dax and Sophie. She began working for Physical Therapy of Concordia in October 2017. Brittany plans to get married November 2022.
Being outdoors is her get away place. She enjoys deer hunting and spending time with friends and family in her free time.
Gena was born and raised in Norborne, MO, a small farming community. She has been happily married to Kevin for 33 years. They have 2 daughters, Ashley and her husband Adam, and Marissa and her fiancé Matt. She became grandma to Avery in 2019. Gena has been in healthcare doing insurance billing, for over 33 yrs. She started out working for a Chiropractor in Higginsville. When she got married she started working for Meyer Medical Clinic in Concordia and worked there for 29 yrs.
Gena enjoys being a grandma to Avery. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, sewing, crafting, cooking, and gardening.
Kayla was raised in Concordia and graduated from Concordia High School in 2015. Then went onto North Central Missouri College, in Trenton Missouri, to continue her softball career while receiving her Associate of Arts from 2015-2017. She decided to come home and attend University of Central Missouri during which time she completed her internship here at the physical therapy center and was offered a job before graduation. Kayla graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Kinesiology in 2019 and has decided to continue her education, pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy in the near future.
Kayla stays plenty busy in her free time; being her nephew’s #1 fan at his athletic events, working on a house she bought with her rescue dog, Houdini, and her high school sweetheart, Jordan, planning her 2020 wedding, and spending time cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks with her family.
Kim received a Bachelor of Science Education in Education and a Master of Science Education in counseling. She has been married to her husband, Norman Brunkhorst, for 33 years and going. Kimberly has three children, Seth (Rachel), Cale, and Ellison (Devon). She is also a proud grandma to Caroline Joyce. She has her beloved dogs named May-Z & Scooter Bob.
For free time Kim enjoys spending time with her family and going to the lake. She also loves sports, reading, and being around friends.
Hannah was raised in Blue Springs and graduated from Blue Springs High School in 2017. Following High School she enrolled at the University of Central Missouri. While in school, she completed her internship at the Blue Ridge Physical Therapy clinic in Independence, Missouri which solidified her plans to be a Physical Therapist. Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a specialty in Pre-Physical Therapy and Exercise Science in 2021. She has decided to continue her education, pursuing a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Hannah enjoys spending time with her friends, family, her dog, and boyfriend. In her free time she loves to travel, eat good food, and spend time outdoors.
